Ok guys, it's all over but the shouting. The Crud to Mud race has been cancelled because of a lack of crud. Normally the Crud to Mud is my official switchover from board to bike but I've actually been biking full on for more than a month and I've only been up to board once or twice during that time. Let's do it all again next season this time with snow!

It's winding down quickly now. Big Red is done for the season things are getting seriously slushy. The big question is, where will the Crud to Mud race switch over point be? Last year it was just below the bottom of Emerald Chair, will we get that low this time?

It looks like we have a bit of a whimpie sytem hanging overhead. Nothing much is falling out, probably a good things because the freezing level is way high. Anyway it's May so we can't really expect any more snow and besides we're all getting seriously in to mountain biking now.

It's warm people, real warm! Things will start to cool down tomorrow but there will still be plenty of sunshine. Most excellent spring skiing conditions I'd say.

More sun, an other centimeter melted away. It's going fast now guys, will we make it to June 5th?

Dudes! What can I tell you. It's sunshine as far as the eye can see. Forget your layers bring a t-shirt, lot's of sunscreen and get here before all the snow has melted.

Uh Oh, missed a few days didn't I? Well what can I say, it's spring skiing to the max. Plenty snow plus sunshine what more do you need. It's going to be like this at least until Sunday.

Ok Ladies and G's we got you an other 14cm, anything else we can do for you this fine day? I am afraid the kitchen is now closed we may have a few fresh cm's left for you but springskiing (with sun and stuff) will arrive tomorrow and that will most likely be it for this season. Oh yeah, before I forget Blackcomb closes today!

23cm not enough for you? There is more (much) in the offing. As far as the freezing level is concerned dude, we've got slush in the village, you don't need to go all that high to get to it. Tomorrow and Monday are shaping up as epic days, just thought I'd let you know.

Big snow's a'coming today and tomorrow followed by a clearing trend starting early on Sunday. Do I need to say more??

An other excellent day. Packed powder with some freshies if you know where to look for them. Don't know 'bout the weatherman though, big snow tomorrow says he. See it, believe it says I.

Excellent conditions. get here quick, an other storm should get here by the afternoon.and (get this) significant snow is expected between now and the weekend.

The freezing level is nice and low. If there is to be any precip this would be the time! Big snow coming again tomorrow says the man.

Gorgeous conditions today, I finally got on the Peak Chair when it just started running, got to cut some excellent lines before they were all gone. The man says we'll have flurries for the rest of the week.

Snow's a'coming. Hey, I hear you say, do you really need more snow? Does a bear shit in the woods, say I.

There is more snow ánd low freezing levels coming up next week. Winter isn't done yet in these here parts meanwhile get up here, take advantage of the snow and enjoy the unlimited views.

Good it's cold again. You get 5 cm of snow yet you end up with a smaller base! That's what warm weather and misery rain will do to you. Meanwhile we're having a bright clear day, let's go for it.

The word is warm as in too. Yes we did get 24cm if you add last night and the whole of yesterday. It got a little cap'n crunch on the hill later in the day cap'n crunch as in crunchy peanut butter but there is lots of it and when things cool down it'll dry out nicely. Things will cool down tonight and then we should start to see some sun late Friday and Saturday. An excellent beginning to the World Ski and Snowboard Festival me thinks!

We're going to get some more snow today -whoopie!! (see yesterday) Anyway it's all good I think that today I will partake. Later.

25cm today 13cm yesterday and yada yada yada. Hé we had more than a meter dropped on us in the last week one does turn a bit blasé after a while don't you know. Today I did my taxes and thank you very much for feeling my pain. I think I will get up there tomorrow and yes to those of you who can't be here, I feel your's.

More to come (snow that is). What else would you like to know? Yes, you can still ski out but keep in mind most of the snow fell above Olympic Station, conditions are marginal on lower run out.

The ski-out on Whistler is getting very sketchy now. I am going to have to check out for a few days and when I get back on the hill I am sure it'll all be gone. To me that means the official arrival of spring skiing. It's all good though because conditions on top were gorgeous again today and the man still insists there is more snow on the way

We had some snow in the late morning, we'll find out how much it was when they do the official measurement tonight. Big snow is coming on Thursday, it looks like we'll pass the 2 meter yet.

Excellent conditions in the Alpine. Fair to good above Mid station but the ski out runs are getting very marginal now. This is going to be an eventful week as far as the weather is concerned. Lots of precip but where is that freezing level going to hang out?

Excellent conditions, A little wet further down down the hill but all in all an excellent Easter Weekend. There is more snow in the forecast so we may make the 2 meter mark yet. Stay tuned.

Serious gorgeousitty is the order of the day here. Note that we've just about hit the 2 meter mark! Big snow in March.. Who knew?

Snow's a'coming I can feel it in my bones (also every weather forecast I hear tells the same story). We may have snow falling on us from now until next Friday. Will we pass the 2 meter mark after all? At this point I'd say yes.

Excellent conditions and a chance of more snow. Easter is looking good indeed. The man says we'll have significant precipitation over the weekend while the freezing level will bounce around the midstation level. Bring it on!

An other glorious day in our revitalized Winter Resort. Plenty snow, blue skies, if you can't be here - as always. I feel your pain.

An afternoon report for a change. Great conditions, riding from top to bottom on Whistler is on again although not officially. For those of you keeping track we received 84 cm of fresh since Tuesday a week ago!! Happy days are here again.

It's a Winter Wonderland out there, trees heavy with snow, drive ways needing to be cleared again. We jumped straight from Spring back into Winter. If you don't mind I have to get up there and partake in the festivities. Later!

Yesterday in the afternoon the snow came again and as I look out the window it's still snowing down here at village level. Mother Nature, you're a bag! Here it is March and finally the snow starts falling. It's too late for a lot of you I know but there is still Easter and the World Ski and Snowboard Festival so we won't let it go to waste. Later!

That 14cm yesterday made all the difference. The place looks like a regular skiresort in spring. Good snow in the alpine and from Blackcomb mountain you can still slide into the village. On Whistler mountain downloading is in effect from Olympic station. Oh yeah, before I forget. There is more snow in the forecast.

It's back to sunshine and spring conditions after we had a one day wonder come by and drop off 14 cm of fresh. We could use a few more one day wonders!

Whoda thunk it? It's snowing, big time, top to botom!! Big fat flakes are falling on the village as I write this. This is só weird. Stay Tuned!

The weatherman is staying consistent snow is still in the forecast for Wednesday. Anybody interested in laying some bets?

Snow by Wednesday? How about I'll believe it when I see it. Meanwhile it spring conditions all around. Hardpack in the morning slush by the afternoon.

It's freezing all the way down at village level. What is this, the return of winter? Some disturbances are coming this way, they'll start ariving on Tuesday. Might they bring ... (dare I say the word)... Snow??? The tension is thick in the air..Stay Tuned!

It's still too warm but that will change tonight we may even have the freezing level drop all the way down to the village level as to snow???? Who knows..

What can I say? It still sucks, I am happy when it doesn't rain. It looks like it's going to stay dry for the rest of this day and things will cool down over the weekend. Will it be cold enough for the snowguns? We'll see, the guns are still out there ready to be fired up the moment the mercury drops below freezing.

Nothing new to report, we're still fighting unseasonally high temps so all we can do for now is hope for no precip. The snow starts out hard but does get nice and soft as the day progresses for those of you who like a little give when you crash.

It's warming up again people. I am starting to get that Tropical Punch feel again we got mid January. According to the man it's going to stay warm until the end of the week.

Fresh snow, that can't be bad. The snowline was about halfway down Upper Olympic on Whistler mountain yesterday. Emerald and Red chairs were well above the freezing level

The warm weather (it gets way above freezing during the day) is really eating into our snow. This is going to be a short season!.

The freezing level is climbing. We don't need precipatation for the next few days. Mom nature are you listening? Conditions are good in the alpine right now.

We've got a series of weak Pacific systems coming this way so there is more precip in our future. As usual it's all about the freezing level. Meanwhile come and enjoy or 11cm of fresh.
