The dump continued and still it was good but not at the bottom where small rivers popped out of the snow and made a mess of the lower runs.

The dump came and it was good but only in the alpine regions. At the bottom most of it fell as rain, we even had some floods! More to come!

Lots of fresh pow but look at those temperatures! We are going to have huge amounts of precip over the next few days but temperatures are going to suck. Make sure you've got wet-conditions wax on your board(s).

Alpine conditions are excellent, lower runs are soggy. Snow's falling below Olympic station so who's complaining?

We're back were we have been most of this season that is to say, it's snowing on top but raining down here. There is lots of precip on the way but the temperature is not going to cooperate, the freezing level is going to go up and down like a yoyo. Check back here to see what that does to our snow conditions.

Something weird is going on, we've got an inversion while it's snowing. Oh well we've got 10 cm and more to come. Who's complaining. Later!

3 cm, just a thin layer to freshen things up. Taking about layers, it's not a bad idea to wear a few yourself cause -18c will freeze the cajones of a brass monkey anytime as far as I am concerned.

It looks like some serious snow is going to fall today. It's snowing right now but more to the point it feels like there's more up in dem dar clouds.

The clouds came, the snow came. Nobody said anything about there being lot's of snow now did they? Not to worry though there are some big dumps on the way.

Ok, so the clouds and the snow are not quite here yet (see yesterday) but they will come. Really!

The IOC evaluation committee is in town to see if we can handle the 2010 Olympics, we ordered in some clear weather for them so they can see better you understand. Not to worry though the clouds and snow will be back tomorrow. Did I ever get it wrong?

There's this, like, white stuff falling out of the sky. It wouldn't be? Nah, it couldn't be! By jove it is! It's snowing although snowing is a big word for this very fine very light fluff coming down still, it's better than a kick in the kaboodle.

Conditions are hardpacked machine groomed. Not bad for April the 15th. What? It's only March 1st? Well shiver me timbers and call me Barney, it sure looks like April around here. Not at all bad you understand but distinctly April-ish

An other day at the beach here in sunny Whistler! I don't know why I bother looking up the weather forecast. We're supposed to get snow on Sunday. Yeah, as if!

Well there you have it folks, not a drop, not a flake, nada! The man says it's really really really going to happen tonight and tomorrow. Really!?

Nothing much happened overnight. It started snowing in Seattle an hour ago if it keeps moving this way it should get here this afternoon but I don't know it just doesn't feel like snow. I'll keep you posted.

An other crisp and clear day. Some very high cloudcover is moving in right now, we may get some snow overnight. Stay tuned.

More spring skiing, a possibilty of some snow on Wednesday but for now the routine is... Camera, sunscreen and oh yeah it is colder than it has been for a while so layer up.

An excellent weekend, conditions on top are soft packed machine groomed. Below midstation it gets boilerplate although the mountain men are making snow full time right now.

Crispy and clear, no new snow but we've got plenty up there. Bring sunscreen and a camera. Peace out.

There's a bit more snow to come and then it's back to spring skiing again. Come and ride some pow before it's all tracked out.

It's snowing as I write this, it's also a little to warm down here on the valley floor but it's cooling down you can tell. Snow flakes fall on the ground try to survive, melt, a new one falls in it's place it's holding on just a little longer. Will the snow flakes carry the day? Are we going to have snow on the ground? It's war down here, it's brutal.

I think the man calls the weather we have right now "unsettled". I have to agree. Will we get more snow? It feels like it. Will it snow top to bottom? I did have snow on my driveway this morning. Will it last? Who knows.

Good news, lots of snow. Bad news, rain at the bottom. The freezing level was hovering in the valley so we did get occasional snow on the bottom runs but mixed with rain. Higher up it's epic, check it out.

It just started snowing! Hesitantly I must admit but, snowing it is. It also feels like it could go on for a long time but that may be wishful thinking on my part.

What can I tell you, the mother of all high pressure arear sits overhead but its reign is about to come to an end. We should see some clouds as early as Thursday.

Spring time skiing as far as the eye can see. The long range forecast mentions something about snow next week. We will see.

It's inversion time, don't get all layered up because it's cold down here. Get up there where it's warm.

Spring skiing all the way. Bottom runs have been fixed conditions are machine groomed hardpack.

One of them thar weird inversions again. Never mind we need cold in the valley because it's the lower runs that need fixing. The snow guns have been blasting for 24 hours now coverage is starting to look decent again.

It's very cold, top to bottom, that's good. If mom nature could keep this up for a few days we'll have enough time to snowgun blast those bottom runs back into to shape. Stay tuned.

Cold and clear a gorgeous day to be sure but - where's da snow? 2 cm is not going to cut it. Time to fire up the old snowguns methinks.

Oh boy, the freezing level is coming down We should get some snow ánd they'll be able to make some more on the lower runs. How's that for a midwinter snowreport!?
